As I was hiking through the Vermont wilderness, I happened upon this section of a thawing mountain river. The running water had carved these intricate, gorgeous natural sculptures in the ice that lined the river’s edge. These precious little ice sculptures glittered all around me. I stopped in my tracks and thought to myself, “Wow! I’m in Fairyland.”
