| I was trying to blend the effortless grace of living birds of paradise with the mystery of the plant bird-of-paradise. The finished piece is a dance of color and energy, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. As with any of my stained glass, I strive to make it look different in different lighting conditions. This one was created for, and is best viewed in, the autumn with golden leaves fluttering in the wind behind it, but it looks beautiful any time of the year. |
